Science Units Cooperation

We cooperate with Polish scientific institutions (West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Faculty of Wood Technology at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań), which deals with the issues in a holistic manner of wood processing, its applications and the creation of wood-based composites.
Research carried out by scientific institutions tend to produce new materials, improvement of production technology and processing techniques. They are designed also to achieve a harmonious and sustainable development of the wood craft and the high level of competitiveness of the Polish wood sector in the international market.


Another important player in terms of customer expectations is the Institute of Industrial Design, which is a strategic advisor in field of design. It advises companies in various industries, developers, institutions and local governments. It is the only institution in Poland, which has the status of a scientific unit and a Research and Development Center, dedicated to the design and acting systematically to improve-through the use of design – companies’ innovation and competitiveness level. The Institute runs Polish research projects in the field of design and ergonomics and deals with consulting design and management strategies, preparation and launching new products to the market.
The Institute of Industrial Design is a member of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), an international non-profit organization that promotes design, with more than 150 institutions in over 50 countries. ICSID also operates the standardization, promotes good patterns, supports collaboration between designers and business. The Institute of Industrial Design is a member of the Design Management Institute (DMI) - an international organization of business and culture supporting institutions, which deals in the field of education, research and development, and design in all areas of design. IWP is regarded as a strategic business advisor, public administration, designers in the development of design and implementation of new well-designed products on the market.
